Spotify have released a new FC Barcelona home kit in collaboration with British band Coldplay, whose logo features on the front of the shirt. The logo is inspired by Coldplay’s latest album, Moon Music.
This particular matchday kit has been designed for two special encounters. The Barça men’s first team will wear it for the next El Clásico on October 26 at the Santiago Bernabéu, while Barça Femení will wear it against Eibar at home on November 2.
In addition, two exclusive editions of the jersey will be available for purchase from October 18 onward at official Barça Stores as well as their e-commerce platform.
One of the limited editions will consist of 1,899 units of the match-quality jersey featuring the Moon Music logo. The second—even more exclusive—edition, will feature a “glow in the dark” Coldplay logo and will be signed by the starting players from both the aforementioned Barça teams. This edition will only consist of 22 units.
FC Barcelona, Spotify, and Coldplay will also release a lifestyle clothing line on October 18, which will feature items such as T-shirts, hoodies, and scarfs.
Speaking about their logo on the Barça jersey, Coldplay said:

Speaking on this collaboration, VP Marketing at FC Barcelona, Juli Guiu, commented:

The band and the club have a mutual love which stretches back many years from the band visiting training sessions, to Barca players watching Coldplay live in Barcelona over the years, to the band’s music soundtracking some of the club’s best moments.”
