Team Liquid partner with Throne

North American esports organisation Team Liquid have inked a new multi-year partnership agreement with wellbeing company Thorne HealthTech. The partnership will see Thorne join as Team Liquid’s Official Health and Wellbeing Partner.

As per the deal, Thorne will help the team optimise and enhance their performances through at-home health tests, nutritional supplements and quizzes. It will also provide the team with new products, which will be focused on sleep, mental focus and energy levels.

The partnership will also see Liquid influencers AverageJonas, Tiffae, Alixxa, and Acie serve as brand ambassadors to Thorne. AverageJonas, Tiffae, Alixxa, and Acie will promote the brand’s products and spread awareness through special events, sponsored stream and other curated content.

Commenting on the partnership, Steve Arhancet, CO-CEO of Team Liquid, said:

In the past, the physical demands put on the bodies of esports athletes were often overlooked by the industry, but working with Thorne will empower our organisation to address how to best educate and fuel our athletes in a way that helps them reach maximum potential.

Most recently, Team Liquid’s CS:GO team were runners-up at ESL Pro League Season 16, where they went down in the Finals to Team Vitality. They are currently participating in Rio Major RMR, hoping to qualify for the Major which will be held later in November 2022.
