French esports organisation Team Vitality have announced French banking group Crédit Agricole as an Official Partner following a multi-year partnership. The partnership will also see Crédit Agricole serve as the main partner of Team Vitality’s training course: Vitality School.
The Vitality School was launched in August 2020 and is an online esports training course that provides 12- to 17-year-olds a platform to showcase their talent by taking part in esports and gaming courses during school holidays. The partnership with Crédit Agricole will put the banking group’s logo present on the Vitality School jersey.
The two parties aim to work on ‘fielding possibilities for all’ through various programmes and activations. Additionally, they will also work together to support young people in the physical and digital fields as part of Crédit Agricole Group’s Societal Project.
The partnership will also see Crédit Agricole branding displayed across assets and contents and cover Team Vitality’s LFL League of Legends team as well as their Rocket League, FIFA and Fortnite teams.
Michel Ganzin, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Crédit Agricole SA commented:
“This partnership is in line with our desire to strengthen social cohesion and inclusion, particularly among young people. By reaching out to them through the growing interest in esports, Crédit Agricole wishes to be a vector of links.”
Nicolas Maurer, CEO at Team Vitality, added:
“It’s a pleasure to partner with Crédit Agricole which is not just an iconic French institution but also one of the top 10 banks worldwide.
“At Team Vitality we have always seen education and development as a core pillar for not only our players but also our community, so it’s great to partner with an entity that shares those values.”
