New partnership for Europa and Conference League

The UEFA has teamed up with bus and train travel and transportation firm Flix, who will join as an Official Partner for the UEFA Europa League and the UEFA Conference League for the 2024-2027 commercial cycle. The partnership will see Flix work with UEFA to help enhance fan engagement activities and will promote sustainable travelling options as well. Both will work on advertising campaigns and Flix will have branding in the stadium as well as the deal aims to promote sustainable travel through football experiences.

Guy-Laurent Epstein, UEFA marketing director, commented,

“We are excited to partner with Flix, a company that connects communities across Europe through collective means of transport and shares our vision for a more sustainable future. Whether fans are travelling for a thrilling UEFA Europa League or UEFA Conference League match or planning an extended stay, we’re making it easier for them to experience the magic of football at iconic stadiums in beautiful cities across Europe.”

André Schwämmlein, CEO and co-founder of Flix, added,

“We are proud to be an official partner of the UEFA Europa League and UEFA Conference League. Sport connects people just like Flix does. We started 11 years ago in Germany and are now present in 44 countries worldwide. This partnership exemplifies our ambition to make sustainable travel accessible for everyone – whether for a trip to see family and friends or to cheer on their favourite football team.”
