Duracell joins the British F1 team as an Official Partner.

British Formula One team Williams have announced Duracell as an Official Partner as part of a multi-year partnership.
The deal will put the battery and smart power systems manufacturer’s logo on the Williams’ race car, driver race suits and team kits. Williams will also be collaborating with Duracell on multiple on-the-ground activations, which will start from the Miami Grand Prix in May.

Speaking about the partnership with Duracell, Jost Capito, Williams Team Principal and CEO said:
“I am so proud of this partnership between Williams and Duracell, and I am grateful for the trust and confidence they have put in us.
“Having their name on the side of our car is a personal highlight for me, as my nickname for 30 years has been Duracell – because I never run out of energy. I am very much looking forward to our work together.”

James Bower, Williams’ Commercial Director, added:
“We are immensely proud to be partnering with a globally-recognised brand such as Duracell.
“Our announcement is a testament to all the hard work the team has done in 2021, how we have developed our commercial proposition and the growth of our sport, particularly, in North America.”

Williams unveiled their FW44 challenger for the 2022 Formula One season on February 15, with the Duracell branding visible on the blue livery of the car.
