Long-term partnership announced
The National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing (NASCAR) has announced a new long-term partnership with Stratasys, who will be joining as the Official 3D Printing Partner of the racing series. Stratasys 3D printing technology will be used by NASCAR for the design and production of parts and tools across NASCAR. The partnership will also see various Stratasys technologies at the upcoming NASCAR state-of-the-art 3D printing lab which will be at the NASCAR Research & Development Center in Concord, North Carolina.
Stratasys will also be increasing the existing FDM (Fused Deposition Modeling) capabilities within the NASCAR R&D center, allowing for larger-scale part production, and also will see the Stratasys NEO stereolithography (SL) integrated in NASCAR, all of which will help with aerodynamic testing, prototyping and production parts with high-precision tooling, enhancing the design and manufacturing flexibility.
