The partnership is the first cryptocurrency deal in the MLS.

Major League Soccer side Inter Miami have announced that cryptocurrency firm XBTO has joined them as their very first shirt sponsor. The multi-year deal is reported to be worth between US$4m to US$5m annually and is one of the biggest shirt deals in the MLS.

As shirt sponsor, XBTO will have its logo featured on the front of Inter Miami’s primary and secondary jerseys.

The Miami-headquartered cryptocurrency firm will also receive digital rights and advertising at Inter Miami’s DRV PNK Stadium in Fort Lauderdale.

Speaking about the deal, Inter Miami CEO and Managing Owner, Jorge Mas, said:

We are pleased to welcome XBTO to our Inter Miami family and to be able to share another milestone with our fans. XBTO will be fully integrated across Inter Miami’s platforms beyond the jersey. Together we will raise awareness and build credibility, and further accelerate the social benefits of cryptocurrency through strategic initiatives as XBTO continues to redefine the next era of finance.

XBTO’s Founder and CEO, Philippe Bekhazi, added:

As institutional adoption of cryptofinance continues to grow, XBTO is dedicated to establishing greater trust, transparency and stability within the industry. Our partnership with Inter Miami brings us one step closer in our mission to advance cryptofinance beyond the digital asset industry.

Founded in 2015, XBTO is a full-service firm providing cryptofinance trading and liquidity pricing services to the world’s most established exchanges. With offices in Miami, Paris and New York, XBTO follows its goal of creating synergies that are eager for growth and adoption of cryptocurrencies.
