Food delivery brand announces multi-year partnership with PSG.

French football heavyweights Paris Saint-Germain have announced a multi-year partnership with German food delivery company Gorillas, which will see the latter become a second-tier partner of the Paris-based football team.

The deal is Gorillas’ first major global sports partnership, with the brand set to gain inventory at the Parc des Princes and also through PSG’s digital assets.

As per reports, the deal is worth between €5m and €8m per season. Gorillas will also receive in-stadium branding.

Marc Armstrong, Chief Partnerships Officer at Paris Saint-Germain, commented:

We are delighted to welcome Gorillas to the Paris Saint-Germain family. Both our brands have developed a strong lifestyle footprint with the aim to make positive changes in the lives of our crew and audiences.

We are looking forward to meeting the Gorillas riders community and innovating together at a fast pace.

Ugur Samut, Chairman of the Board at Gorillas, stated:

It is a great honour for our first global sport sponsorship to support one of the most successful football teams in Europe with whom we share many key values such as boldness, authenticity and team spirit.

Gorillas’ brand DNA is at the intersection of sport and lifestyle, making this partnership with a true love brand like Paris Saint-Germain an incredible fit.

The partnership between the two was announced via a video, which saw a customer receive a food order from Gorillas and was also handed a PSG shirt delivered by PSG player Marco Verratti.
