AC Milan ink MonkeyLeague partnership

Serie A club AC Milan have announced a new partnership with Web3 game MonkeyLeague, which has signed on as the club’s Official NFT Gaming Partner.

The partnership will see MonkeyLeague collaborate with AC Milan to create unique fan experiences and digital assets, including Milan-themed wearables, while also creating various game tournaments and work on co-marketing events which will have AC Milan players test the MonkeyLeague game.

MonkeyLeague and AC Milan will launch a new collection of AC Milan NFT game assets, which will include MonkeyPlayers, skins and stadiums on October 6, 2022. Milan will also sponsor a host of MonkeyLeague esports events as part of the partnership.

MonkeyLeague, which is built on the Solana blockchain, lets users create teams with six NFT characters and compete against other users with the game having its own economy known as the MonkeyBucks ($MBS) token.
