Club Atlético de Madrid have signed a partnership agreement with LG Electronics, which will see the latter work on developing and installing new LED technology at the Civitas Metropolitano, the Atleti home ground.

As per the agreement, new audio-visual mediums—both on the exterior and interior of the stadium—with high-performance bespoke screens will be added to double the LED coverage at the stadium.

Óscar Mayo, Chief Revenue and Operating Officer, Atlético Madrid, said:

LG is the best possible partner to improve the audiovisual experience for every spectator at the Cívitas Metropolitano. Thanks to this new development, our stadium and future Ciudad del Deporte projects will become technological frontrunners in the area of providing a service for fans.”

Jaime de Jaraíz, CEO of LG España, added:

It’s an honour for LG to be able to work alongside Club Atlético de Madrid on this exciting project, the most ambitious we’ve developed to date in the area of sports. Our LED technology, together with the personalised design and attention to detail that we offer in every aspect of this installation, will make every visit to the stadium an incredible experience for fans of good football and every form of entertainment, in line with our motto ‘Life’s Good’.
