Asian Football Confederation (AFC) announces partnership with Hudl

The Asian Football Confederation (AFC), the continent’s football-governing body, has signed a five-year partnership agreement with Hudl, a sports performance technology company and video analysis solutions provider, which has acquired the exclusive scouting rights to all major AFC competitions.

The deal will see Hudl gain access to the AFC’s content, which will be available on the Hudl Wyscout platform and provide “data for professional purposes, including performance analysis, coaching, player development and scouting”.

The AFC qualifiers for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, the 2027 AFC Asian Cup in Saudi Arabia, and the 2026 AFC Women’s Asian Cup in Australia are the main international football events that will be covered by the Hudl partnership.

In terms of age-group competitions, the U23 Asian Cup, as well as several editions of the U17 and U20 Asian Cups — both men’s and women’s — will be covered by the partnership.

The AFC’s premier club competitions, including the Champions League Elite, the Champions League Two, and the Women’s Champions League, will also be covered from their 2024/25 to 2028/29 editions.
