Beatriz Haddad-Maia, who was born in Sao Paulo, Brazil, on 30 May 1996, comes from a long history of tennis professionals, including her mother Lais Skaff Haddad and grandmother Arlette Skaff Haddad. She started playing tennis when she was just five years old. 

She has won two singles wins and four doubles titles on the WTA Tour throughout her career, as well as 17 singles titles and nine doubles titles on the ITF Circuit. Notably, she won the 2022 Nottingham Open, her first WTA 250 championship.

In the tournament’s 40-year existence, she also won the Birmingham Classic, making history as the only Brazilian to do so. At the Canadian Open, Haddad Maia created history once more by defeating world No. 1 Iga Witek and making it to her maiden WTA 1000 level final. She teamed up with Danilina to win the WTA 1000 in Guadalajara, and became the first Brazilian woman to qualify for the WTA Finals. She has an estimated net worth of about $2-3 million.

Spanish sports clothing manufacturer Joma is Haddad Maia’s official apparel partner, providing her with her playing apparel, footwear and headwear.

Wilson 

The Brazilian uses Wilson racquets and Wilson also provides her with kit equipment. Wilson is an American sports manufacturing company based out of Illinois. 

Eqlibri 

Pepsico’s healthy snacking brand eQlibri brought Haddad Maia onboard as a brand ambassador in January 2022. The partnership has Haddad Maia appear in various advertisements for the Spanish company and the eQlibri logo is present on the front of her playing kit.

Itaú 

Haddad Maia is a brand ambassador of Brazilian financial services company Itaú Unibanco since March 2023. Haddad Maia appears in various awareness campaigns for the brand and has the logo present on the front of her jersey at various tournaments.

Prudential do Brasil 

In January 2023 Brazilian insurance company Prudential do Brasil signed Haddad Maia as their official ambassador. Haddad Maia appears in various advertisement campaigns for the brand as part of her agreement with Prudential do Brasil. 

Latina America Re 

Latin American reinsurance company currently serves as a sponsor for the Brazilian player after having signed an agreement with her in January 2023. Haddad Maia headlines various campaigns for the brand as part of her role. The brand logo is also present on her training and playing kit at various tournaments. 

Rede Tênis Brasil 

Brazilian tennis network Rede Tênis Brasil currently serves as one of Haddad Maia’s partners. 

Rede Tênis Brasil was born with the aim of developing and growing the sport in the country, Haddad Maia is the ideal brand ambassador for the upcoming talent in Brazil. 

SMZTO Franquias 

SMZTO Franquias is a Brazilian franchise investment holding company, and has been a partner of Haddad Maia since December 2021. The partnership also sees Haddad Maia sport the SMZTO logo on her playing jersey. 

ENGIE Brasil 

ENGIE Brasil is a subsidiary of the global energy company ENGIE, operating in the fields of electricity generation, energy efficiency, and renewable energy solutions in Brazil, signed a new partnership agreement with the Brazilian Tennis Confederation in January 2023. The partnership also has ENGIE Brasil serve as sponsors for four Brazilian tennis players which include Beatriz Hadda Maia.

Jungle Organic 

Organic beverage brand Jungle has been a partner of Haddad Maia since March 2021, with the Brazilian athlete appearing in multiple advertisements for the brand over the years.
