AFC Bournemouth expand IFX Payments partnership
AFC Bournemouth have announced an expansion of their partnership with IFX Payments.
The London-based foreign exchange consultancy firm, which already serves as the club’s Official Money Transfer Partner, will now take up the roles of Official Partner and Back of Shorts Partner of the Bournemouth women’s team.
The IFX Payments logo will thus be featured on the back of the women’s team’s playing shorts. It will also enjoy increased branding visibility at the Vitality Stadium (men’s team home ground) and the Ringwood Community Hub (women’s team home ground).
Additionally, IFX Payments will work with the club on various fan engagement and community activities.
On the partnership expansion, Rob Mitchell, Commercial Director, AFC Bournemouth, commented:
“We’re thrilled to see IFX Payments extend their commitment to the club by partnering with our women’s team. Their belief in the journey we’re on and the growth of the women’s game is incredibly important. The partnership not only highlights the commercial growth of our women’s setup but also continues to demonstrate how deeply valued our existing partners are in our wider club community.“
Simon Hughes, IFX Payments, added:
“AFC Bournemouth is flourishing on and off the Pitch. The women’s team were promoted last season, and the investment that is being delivered into the club via things like the new state of the art training facility will naturally draw in talent to both the women’s and men’s team. With all of these positives happening plus the expansion of the Vitality Stadium, the future looks very bright for everyone involved in AFC Bournemouth, and we are proud to be part of it.“
