Cameron Smith: Sponsors | Brand endorsements

Cameron Smith, an Australian professional golfer who competes in LIV Golf, was born on August 18, 1993. Smith has won the 2022 Open Championship as well as five other PGA Tour events. He competed on the PGA Tour of Australasia after turning pro in 2013. He has participated in many competitions over the years and has taken home ten professional victories.

Owing to a US$100m deal he signed with the Saudi-backed LIV Golf series in 2023, Smith is expected to have a net worth of roughly US$50 million. He is also captain of the LIV Ripper GC team that include the likes of Marc Leishman, Matt Jones and Jed Morgan.

Current deals

Baker Tilly

Smith was named brand ambassador by Baker Tilly, a top US-based CPA (Certified Public Accounting) firm, in 2022. The partnership debuted at the PGA Championship that year.

As per the deal, Smith sports the Baker Tilly logo on his right sleeve.

Original Penguin

Smith first wore Original Penguin attire in 2018. He was then re-signed by the Perry Ellis International division as a global brand ambassador in 2022 as part of a multi-year deal.

As per the deal, the Original Penguin logo features on the shirt Smith dons while participating in major golf tournaments.

Titleist

On the course, Smith utilises Titleist clubs and balls and has an extended endorsement agreement with the company.

Titleist is an American manufacturer of golf equipment with headquarters in Fairhaven, Massachusetts. It was founded in 1932. 

Open Sky Group

In 2021, Open Sky Group, a US-based company specialising in technological solutions globally, collaborated with Smith, starting with the Sentry Tournament of Champions competition at the Kapalua Golf Club in Hawaii. The partnership represented an important step in the expansion of Open Sky Group’s international reach across India, North America, Australia and Europe.

As a PGA Tour spokesman for the business, Smith sports the Open Sky Group emblem on his clothing while playing golf and taking part in a variety of marketing and social media events.

Paradox

Worldwide conversational AI platform Paradox announced an alliance with Smith in March 2021. Smith worked with the organisation to explore the components of teams through the creation of Team Paradox, which is the reason for the cooperation. 

In addition to Lyndsey Fry, Jennifer Kupcho, Cheyenne Woods and Shane Doan, Smith joined an elite group of athletes by wearing the company’s insignia on his jersey while competing in golf events.

Easypost

EasyPost, a US-based business that was established in 2012, is a fast and adaptable multi-carrier shipping API that has in place a multi-year agreement with Smith. While playing golf, he sports the company’s logo and actively promotes it online.

FootJoy

Smith also has a sponsorship agreement in place with FootJoy and uses its equipment on the course, including shoes and gloves.

With its headquarters in Brockton, Massachusetts, FootJoy is a shoemaker with more than a century of experience across all major international markets. The cap Smith wears on the golf course bears the brand’s emblem as well.

NetJets

Since 2020, Smith has served as a brand ambassador for aviation charter firm NetJets.

NetJets was established in the US in 1964, and Smith frequently promotes the company on his social media accounts. Along with Rolex, it is the largest corporation for non-apparel brands in golf.

Citibank

Since 2018, athletes involving Danielle Kang and Justin Thomas have joined Cameron Smith as brand ambassadors for Citi, an American multinational investment bank and financial services organisation with headquarters in New York City. Smith performs on the golf course wearing the Citi logo on his sleeves and actively takes part in marketing and promotional activities for the financial institution.

Hyperice

In April 2021, Smith was added to the roster of athletes that endorse Hyperice, a market leader in heat, percussion, vibration and dynamic air compression tech.

In addition to asserting his position in the sport, as per his deal with Hyperice, Smith also speaks to a new generation of golfers who place a higher priority on training and rehabilitation in order to perform at their best. He also receives the latest Hyperice products, research and practical instructions, helping him accelerate his recovery, boost his performance, and improve his overall health and mobility.

Previous deals

Under Armour

From 2015 to 2018, Smith worked with American sportswear manufacturer Under Armour, after which he switched to Original Penguin. While with Under Armour, he would actively support its initiatives and marketing activities and wear its logo on his shirt.
