Australian Formula 2 racer Jack Doohan has been announced as the Reserve Driver of French Formula One team, Alpine. Doohan who will be competing for Virtuosi Racing in the Formula 2 2023 season will be competing in his third season with the team. The Australian, who is a previous member of the Red Bull Junior Programme, joined the Alpine family in 2022. Dohaan has already taken part in multiple Formula One sessions for Alpine during the 2022 season. The Australian took part in the Mexican Grand Prix Free Practice 1 session and the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix Free Practice 1 session as well.

TCL Electronics renews Australian Grand Prix partnership

Global television manufacturer and consumer electronics giant TCL Electronics has renewed their partnership with the Australian Grand Prix Corporation. The partnership will see TCL Electronics continue on as the Official Television Provider of the Australian Grand Prix for the second straight year. The renewal of the partnership will see TCL provide the audience with audio-visual coverage experience with the implementation of over 800 LCD TVs installed around the circuit, helping spectators catch the on-track action at all parts of the circuit, irrespective of where they are. TCL will also host a racing simulator for the fans along with a daily prize giveaway. Rafael Mayen, TCL Electronics Australia, National Marketing Manager, commented, "TCL’s visual and audio technologies which is set to expand in the coming months with brand-new TVs and soundbars along with a wider choice of whitegoods — will put F1 fans in pole position to watch cars tear around Melbourne’s lakeside track in exhilarating detail and hear some of the best racing in the world through a fully immersive audio experience. Formula One is a breathtaking experience that offers excitement like no other sport, and we're keen to see people come in and enjoy watching the races in the new TCL Recharge Lounge.”

Red Bull Racing have roped in premium fitness brand, Built For Athletes as the team’s Official Luggage Provider, joining on a multi-year deal. Built For Athletes will provide the team with their products which will be meticulously designed to provide supreme comfort, absolute assurance and unapologetic style. Both parties will also work together on a limited edition collection which will have the Built for Athlete backpack in the Red Bull Racing colours. The backpack will have the names of Red Bull's drivers - Max Verstappen and Sergio Pérez on them. Christian Horner, Team Principal and CEO at Oracle Red Bull Racing, said, "As a team who prioritises partnering with brands that offer the highest quality products and constantly push for better, Built For Athletes is a perfect match for us. They understand not only our need for peak performance on race day, but everything involved in getting us to that point. Leading UAE-based artificial intelligence (AI) and cloud computing technology company, G42, have been announced as an Official Partner of German Formula One team Mercedes following a multi-year partnership with the German team. The partnership will see Mercedes use G42's software and solutions for critical insights. Additionally the agreement will also focus on talent development programmes, joint training, and innovation workshops. Both parties will also work to find new areas to deploy AI and use it to the team's advantage. The partnership will see the G42 logo present on the Mercedes race car and on the race helmets of both drivers and in the team garage during race weekends. Formula E announces multi-year partnership with Tata Communications

Formula E have roped in Tata Communications as the Official Broadcast Distribution Provider of the Championship, following a multi-year deal. The partnership will see Tata Communications deliver high-definition, high-resolution and high-speed live broadcast content to audiences worldwide and is a part of Formula E's new remote broadcast production of live races, which is aimed at reducing the environmental impact typical of major live international sports events on TV. The new broadcast, supported by Tata, will provide round-the-clock global end-to-end managed services at all the races in the season. Both parties are also working together to create more fan experiences through innovation and efficiency.
