Dean "Deano" Jones passes away at 59

Former Australian Cricket legend Dean Jones has passed away at 59 today after suffering a sudden Cardiac Arrest in Mumbai. He was a part of the Star Sports broadcasting team for the ongoing IPL season and was in a safety bubble in a seven-star Hotel when he suffered the attack.

The former Australian batsman was an essential player for Don Bradman’s great team. Dean had played 52 test matches and 164 ODI’s scoring an impressive total of 3631 and 6068 in those matches, respectively, having a test average of 46.55.

He was not just an incredible cricketer but has also given us many exciting commentating moments while watching cricket as well.
As soon as the news of his demise broke out, many famous and legendary cricketers wrote their heartfelt tribute on their social media handles, telling amazing stories of how much of a great human being Dean was for those around him.
