Following are the organisations that serve as sponsors and brand partners to the Durand Cup, the oldest football tournament in Asia, for its 132nd edition and enjoy a strong branding presence across its physical and digital assets.

Title Sponsor

Indian Oil 

Indian Oil Corporation Limited is an Indian multinational oil and gas company under the ownership of the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Government of India. It is the largest government-owned oil producer in the country both in terms of capacity and revenue.

In February 2022, Indian Oil and the Durand Cup announced the signing of a partnership deal. Although the financial details and terms of the deal were not disclosed, it is believed that the two parties signed a multi-year agreement.

Coal India Limited 

Coal India Limited (CIL) is an Indian public sector undertaking under the ownership of the Ministry of Coal, Government of India.

CIL and the Durand Cup signed a multi-year sponsorship deal in September 2021. As per the terms of the deal, CIL serves as the “Powered By” sponsor of the Durand Cup.

Co-Sponsor

State Bank of India

The State Bank of India (SBI) is an Indian multinational public sector bank and financial services statutory body headquartered in Mumbai, Maharashtra.

The SBI joined the Durand Cup’s sponsorship portfolio as a “Co-Sponsor” ahead of its 2022 edition. Although the financial details and terms of this deal were not disclosed, as per the tournament’s official website, the SBI is set to Co-Sponsor the Durand Cup heading into its 132nd edition.

SITI Networks

SITI Networks Limited is a multi-system operator (MSO) promoted by the Essel Group that provides digital cable television services in India.

The Noida-based service provider on-boarded the Durand Cup’s sponsorship portfolio as a supporting partner in 2022. For this year’s edition, SITI will continue its role and provide coverage for all the group and final-round games of the Durand Cup. 

Ball Sponsor

Nivia

Nivia Sports is an Indian corporate and sports equipment manufacturing industry founded in 1934. Headquartered in Jalandhar, Punjab. 

In August 2022, Nivia was roped in as the official ball sponsor of the Durand Cup, providing the match ball for all its games.

Tournament Sponsor 

Cherry Tree

Cherry Tree is a professional event management and brand activation company based in Kolkata, India.

In October 2021, the official Twitter (now “X”) handle of the Durand Cup announced the signing of Cherry Tree as the official tournament sponsor of its 130th edition.

Associate Sponsors

JIS Group

JIS Group is one of the largest educational groups in India, with presence in West Bengal, Assam, Meghalaya and Sikkim. It currently has over 30 institutes, offering a wide range of courses in engineering, management, healthcare, hospitality and other fields. 

JIS Group became a partner of the Durand Cup in 2022. Although the financial details and terms of the deal were not disclosed, as per the tournament’s official website, JIS Group is one of its associate sponsors. 

Amul

Anand Milk Union Limited (Amul) is an Indian state government-owned dairy-based cooperative society officially named the Gujarat Milk Marketing Federation and falls under the ownership of Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation Limited, Department of Cooperation, Government of Gujarat.

In 2022, the Durand Cup on-boarded Amul as one of its associate sponsors.
