The European Cricket Championship (ECC) has announced online betting platform Stake.com as the Principal Partner of the 2022 edition of the tournament.

As Principal Partner, Stake.com will have brand visibility at the stadiums throughout the tournament and even on the ECC’s broadcast platforms.

Commenting on the deal, Roger Feiner, CEO of the European Cricket League AG, commented:

European Cricket is proud to partner with Stake.com, one of the most innovative and engaging companies within this sector, for the European Cricket Championships 2022. With this engagement, European Cricket is proud to sit alongside other first-class sponsorships of Stake.com such as their partnerships with Premier League team Everton FC, Indian Super League team Mumbai City FC and several other high-profile global partnerships that include UFC and Sergio Aguero.

Like Stake.com we are innovators, and we believe there can be a lot of overlap between our companies when it comes to principles and best practices.

Dominic Rae, Sponsorship Manager of Stake.com, added:

We are excited for this partnership with The European Cricket Championship. We have been impressed with the tournament’s growth, and cricket is a sport with an enormous and passionate fan base.

We are looking forward to seeing some top-class action across the 120 matches of the tournament.

The tournament, which is being hosted by the European Cricket League (ECL), will get underway from September 12, 2022 and will last till October 14 in Málaga. It will have a total of 21 national teams fighting it out for the crown.
