Formula One extends Fuji TV deal
Formula One has announced an extension of its partnership with Fuji Television Network, Inc. (Fuji TV), which will see the latter continue to broadcast F1 in Japan until the end of its 2030 edition.
The extension of the partnership, which will now enter its fifth decade, will see Fuji TV bring all F1 action, including all practice and qualifying sessions, Sprint events, and Grands Prix, on its broadcast and digital channels, including Fuji TV Next Live Premium (CS channel), Fuji TV Nextsmart (online channel), and its OTT platform FOD for the first time ever.
Additionally, up to five rounds will be made available on terrestrial TV and F1 TV Pro, with F1 TV Premium also set to debut in Japan next year.
Fuji TV will also enhance its content package, which will include new programmes like F1™ GP News, a five-hour Formula 1 Season Review, as well as a host of archival footage featuring the most memorable moments from past Grands Prix.
