Formula E nets Southwire partnership for Portland race

Southwire, a North American wire and cable producer and an emerging company in the electrical industry, has been announced as the Title Sponsor of the 2023 Portland E-Prix, which will be held in Portland on June 24, 2023.

The partnership will see the race renamed as the Southwire Portland E-Prix and will mark the debut of Formula E races in Portland. Both Southwire and Portland will work towards developing innovative systems and solutions similar to Formula E’s purpose of accelerating change towards an electric and more sustainable future.

Richard Oglesby, Senior Vice President of OEM and Industrial, commented:

Recently, Southwire was also roped in as the Official Wire and Cable Provider of the Formula E World Championship.
