Nike

Giannis signed a deal with Nike in 2017. The deal was deemed to be a “long-term” one, without specifically mentioning the length of the contract. Nike, in pursuance of the deal, launched the Greek Freak line of shoes inspired by the Greek basketballer. The line helps to inspire a new set of Greek kids to take up the sport. The endorsement is supposedly bringing in at least US$10 million a year. 

JBL Headphones

JBL teamed up with Giannis in 2021 to release a new line of headphones during the year. The Endurance Peak 2 edition was released as part of the collaboration with Giannis. The Greek featured on the official website of the audio equipment manufacturer as well as in ad campaigns promoting the products of the brand. 

Google

Google snapped up Giannis in 2021 for the release of its new Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro in October of the same year. He was made the face of the company for the release of the product and took to Twitter to announce the commencement of his relationship with the brand. 

WhatsApp

In 2021, Giannis became the first-ever brand ambassador to be signed by WhatsApp. The US-based messaging service company launched its first-ever marketing campaign in 2021. The deal has been dubbed to be a multi-year agreement between the two parties. Not much else has been disclosed about the deal.

Nabisco

Giannis teamed up recently with Nabisco snacks and took to Instagram in April 2022 to promote the brand. The player released a video of his first-ever cookie dunk in milk, helping promote the brand and Oreos, a lead product of the company. Nabisco is a food company that was founded way back in 1898 and produces cookies and snacks.

Budweiser

Giannis teamed up with Budweiser and was made a part of multiple ads during 2021 to promote the brand. He has also gone onto Facebook to feature a brand commercial on his profile. Budweiser is a US-based company that primarily produces Pale Lager which was introduced in 1876.

Disney

The popular entertainment company signed a deal with Giannis for the release of its new movie, “Rise”, which is to be released on its OTT platform Disney+ on June 24, 2022. The movie is said to be based on the Greek star’s life. 

Roblox

Giannis teamed up with Roblox and took to his Instagram profile to promote the company in late 2019. Roblox is a science, technology and engineering company that helps play, create and socialise within 3D virtual worlds. 

Hulu

Giannis starred in an ad campaign called the “Hulu Sellouts” in 2019. The value and the length of the deals were undisclosed, but the basketballer appeared in various promotional campaigns for the OTT platform. 

2K Sports 

Giannis signed a deal with 2K Sports to become the face of the company’s NBA2K19 game. He was present on the cover of the game, helping promote the product of the US-based video game development company. 

Kronos Foods

Kronos Foods is a Chicago-based company that tied up with Giannis in 2021. The company is the largest producer of gyros in the world and primarily works in the manufacturing of Mediterranean style food. 

Tissot

Giannis has also been linked to a deal with the Swiss luxury watch manufacturer, Tissot. The company was founded in Le Locle, Switzerland way back in 1853. The company has been quite successful and earns a revenue of about one billion Euros a year.

Ready Nutrition

Reports came out in 2020 that Giannis was set to invest in Ready Nutrition, a leading sports nutrition brand in the US. The Greek star had already been using the products of the company before his investment and believed joining the company to be a good move. Having been given an ownership stake in the company, Giannis takes part in the creative decisions of the company.

Milwaukee Brewers

In August 2021 it was revealed that an undisclosed stake in the ownership of Major League Baseball side Milwaukee Brewers was purchased by Antetokounmpo. The team took to Twitter for the announcement of their newest owner.

  • In 2020, Giannis, along with his teammates, donated US$100,000 to “After School Matters”, a Chicago-based NGO that provides after-school education to about 19,000 students across the city. 
  • Giannis decided to pay arena workers salaries worth US$100,000 when the COVID pandemic first hit in March 2020.
