Gillette suspends contract with Hardik Pandya after his sexist comments on Koffee with Karan

Staff Staff

A cup of “Koffee” has tarnished Hardik Pandya’s image and has also brought shame to KL Rahul. After facing massive hatred on social media and getting banned from India’s the remaining matches against Australia, Hardik has now even lost a sponsor.

Considering the current situation, Proctor and Gamble owned Gillette has suspended its ongoing partnership with Hardik Pandya. A company spokesperson told the Times Of India that, “Hardik Pandya’s recent comments do not reflect the values of Gillette. We have suspended our association with Hardik until we decide on the further course of action.”

Both Hardika Pandya and KL Rahul have been called back to India by BCCI to be present in an inquiry scheduled to know more about the issue. The future of Hardik’s association with Gillette will only be clear once the BCCI set panel makes a decision on the matter.

Hardik is also sponsored by Gulf Oil, D:FY amongt others. As of now none of them have made any comment on Hardik’s statements on Koffee with Karan.
