AIFF announces 28-man provisional squad for FIFA World Cup Qualifiers in November

The AIFF has officially announced India’s 28-man provisional squad for the FIFA World Cup Qualifiers set to be played this month.

India are set to face Kuwait and Qatar as part of their first two matches in the 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers.

Igor Štimac has decided to include Mumbai City midfielder Apuia in the absence of Jeakson Singh. It remains to be seen as to who will partner Sandesh Jhingan in defence, with Anwar Ali injured.
