Moreover, MPL’s sportswear brand, MPL Sports, became the official kit partner of the Indian contingents until 2022. Nippon Paint – The Osaka-headquartered paint and paint products manufacturer announced itself as an official partner of the IOA in July 2020, pledging its allegiance with the Indian contingent ahead of the Tokyo Olympics with the #StrongerTogether campaign, via which it also aimed to rally the country together amidst the ongoing COVID pandemic.

To kick off the partnership, via its insurance subsidiary, Edelweiss Tokio Life Insurance, the Group offered INR 50 lakh as insurance cover for each Indian athlete at the 2018 CWG.
