English Premier League club Leeds United have signed a deal with Yorkshire-based personal care and household-cleaning brand Astonish. The deal makes Astonish the official training wear partner of the club for the 2022-23 season.
This deal expands on Astonish’s previous partnership with Leeds United, as per which the brand sponsored Elland Road’s (the club’s home ground) West Stand.
Commenting on the partnership, Howard Moss, Owner and Chief Executive of Astonish, said:
“The Astonish brand are delighted to have extended our partnership with LUFC, including both men and women sides.
“Established just a mile from Leeds city centre some 50 years ago, our routes have always been firmly set within West Yorkshire and we are extremely proud of this. Being part of such a passionate, loyal and dedicated fanbase as are LUFC supporters, really mirrors what the Astonish brand is all about.
“We feel certain this will drive even greater awareness for the Astonish brand – where we have a strong presence globally. We hope our brand name gives the team that inspiration to Astonish everyone for the season ahead.”
Paul Bell, Executive Director at Leeds United, added:
“We are thrilled to expand our partnership with Astonish and look forward to seeing their branding feature across all our training wear for the new Premier League season.
“The truly global reach of the Premier League, with every Leeds United game shown live around the world will provide a strong marketing platform to help support the brand expansion overseas.
“We pride ourselves on developing long term partnerships and we have now been working with Astonish for six years and everyone at the club is excited to continue building upon the special relationship we have already created with them.”
