LPL 2025 brings onboard Chris Gayle as brand ambassador

Former West Indies cricketer Chris Gayle has been announced as the Official Brand Ambassador of the Lanka Premier League (LPL) with Gayle set to be the face of the LPL 2025 edition. The LPL 2025 will take place between July to August 2026, having been pushed back to align with other international series. The LPL 2025 will see five franchises –  Colombo Kaps, Dambulla Sixers, Galle Marvels, Jaffna Kings and Kandy Falcons. , go up against each other and it will be the sixth season of the league.
