Major League Soccer (MLS) has announced a multi-year deal with tyre and wheels retailer Discount Tire, which thus becomes the Official Tire Retailer of MLS, the MLS All-Star Game presented by Target, and the MLS Cup presented by Audi.
The multi-year deal will see the independent tyre retailer enjoy branding presence across MLS broadcasts, the MLS Season Pass, FOX, and in-stadium promotions. It will also offer fans sweepstakes and host grassroots marketing and community outreach programmes.
The Scottsdale, Arizona-based company is also the Official Tire Retailer of Inter Miami CF while also sponsoring the Portland Timbers, Seattle Sounders FC, FC Cincinnati, Nashville SC, and Chicago Fire FC.
Carter Ladd, Chief Revenue Officer, Major League Soccer, commented:
“We are proud to welcome Discount Tire as an official partner as the league continues to grow. Consumers trust Discount Tire and we look forward to working together to further reach and engage with MLS’ loyal fanbase.“
Michael Zuieback, Executive Chairman, Discount Tire, added:
“As a longtime fan that has witnessed the tremendous growth and interest in soccer in the U.S., I couldn’t be more excited than to have Discount Tire named the Official Tire Retailer of MLS. We look forward to partnering with MLS to support local neighbourhoods and to bring Discount Tire’s message of making tire buying easy and inviting to fans and viewers nationwide.“
