Liverpool FC star Mohamed Salah reunited with ex-Red Dejan Lovren in a hilarious new advert for Pepsi, with netizens reacting warmly to the advert on the social media platform X (formerly known as Twitter).

The Croatian defender plied his trade at Anfield for six seasons between 2014 and 2020, making 185 appearances. He went on to join Zenit Saint Petersburg for three seasons before joining Olympique Lyonnais this summer.

The 34-year-old played alongside Salah for three seasons, winning the UEFA Champions League and the Premier League during their time together. The pair famously formed a close friendship off the pitch.

Despite Lovren being away from Merseyside, the pair have maintained their bond over the years. This is at the centre of Pepsi’s new advert, which features the pair hilariously showing off their acting skills by sampling various traditional Egyptian delicacies.
