Indian golfer announces her first-ever sponsorship deal.

Professional golfer Aditi Ashok announced her first ever sponsorship deal, becoming a brand ambassador for Radisson Hotels America.

The 2020 Summer Olympics star put out a message on her Twitter handle which stated:

So thrilled to share the good news and announce my first sponsor. I am incredibly thankful to @rhamericas for believing in me. Feeling very excited and proud to represent the Radisson Hotel Group Americas team and looking forward to an amazing journey ahead.

Ashok, who came agonisingly close to clinching a maiden Olympic medal at the 2020 Tokyo Games, is currently participating at the Dubai Moonlight Classic, trying to secure a fourth Ladies European Tour victory.

Ashok was the first and youngest woman to win the Lall Aicha Tour School in 2016. She also won the 2017 Fatima Bint Mubarak Ladies Open in Abu Dhabi and the 2016 Hero Women’s Indian Open, Qatar Ladies Open. She is currently looking to complete the ‘UAE Double’ this year.

Given the Bangalore-born Ashok’s meteoric rise over the last couple of years, Radisson is sure to be the first of many sponsors for the promising golfer.
