Sophia Smith is an American professional football player who plays for the Portland Thorns FC. At the age of 22, Smith has already climbed the ladder of success to emerge as one of the standout young talents in women’s football right now.
At the age of 19, Smith became the youngest player ever to be drafted in the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL), and, within a couple of years, she has gone on to become an NWSL champion with the Portland Thorns while also winning the 2022 NWSL MVP Award for her outstanding performances.
