In our last episode of Candid Football Conversations, we broke down the 28-man Indian squad selected for November’s FIFA World Cup Qualifiers.

Although the goalkeeping department as well as the forward line seem satisfactory, we are unable to guess the midfield three, barring Mohun Bagan’s Sahal Abdul Samad.

It is likely that Mehtab Singh will partner Sandesh Jhingan in central defence, with Akash Mishra and Nikhil Poojary keeping their places on the flanks.
