UEFA signs new deal with Hisense

European football-governing body, UEFA, has signed home appliance giant Hisense as the Official Screen Provider for VAR for the upcoming 2024 European Football Championship, otherwise known as UEFA Euro 2024.

The partnership will see Hisense provide screen solutions for the event’s VAR room in Leipzig.

Hisense will also become the exclusive rights holder for VAR as a sponsor and have branding presence at the grounds and stadium screens throughout the month-long tournament.

Guy-Laurent Epstein, Marketing Director of UEFA, commented:

UEFA is delighted that Hisense is committed to European National Team football by, amongst others, providing the VAR screens for the tournament. The Hisense cutting-edge screen technology will support the VAR refereeing teams to review and assist on-field decisions ensuring greater fairness at the upcoming UEFA EURO 2024.
