Women’s Premier League (WPL) Sponsors 2026
Here, we look at the organisations acting as the official sponsors and partners of the Women’s Premier League (WPL) for its 2026 season.
Title Sponsor
TATA
The TATA Group, already serving as the title sponsor of the Indian Premier League (IPL), was handed the WPL title sponsorship rights by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) ahead of its inaugural season in 2023.
The BCCI then announced in January 2023 that the multinational conglomerate would act as the title sponsor of the WPL until 2027.
The partnership promotes key brands like TATA Motors and TATA Capital in order to support the growth of women’s cricket in India.
Premier Partner
Sintex
The BCCI announced its partnership with Sintex in February 2024. This agreement made the Gujarat-based manufacturer of plastic products and liquid storage solutions provider the Associate Partner of the WPL for a period of four years—from 2024 to 2027.
Sintex is a Welspun World Company that entered this partnership in order to promote women’s cricket while also highlighting the brand’s commitment to important issues like water conservation and sustainability.
Herbalife
As per the deal, Herbalife became the Official Nutrition Partner of the Tata WPL. This collaboration was formed to breed inclusivity and an aim to help ensure wellbeing of women in sports.
ChatGPT
ChatGPT is an Artificial Intelligence (AI) chatbot for everyday use that helps with questions, ideas and solutions. The deal was signed for the 2026 and 2027 seasons.
Kingfisher Packaged Drinking Water
The partnership will promote Kingfisher’s premium packaged drinking water.
Strategic Timeout Partner: CEAT
In February 2023, CEAT Tyres and the BCCI extended their long-standing partnership, which designated the tyre company as the Official Strategic Timeout Partner of the WPL until the 2025 season.
The partnership has been further extended for a duration of two years until 2027.
Beverage Partner: Bisleri
As per the deal, Bisleri will provide on-ground hydration with limited-edition packaging and will also be featured on the WPL’s digital and social media for fan engagement.
Official Broadcaster: Star Sports
The initial season of the league was broadcasted in India on the Sports18 TV channel and the JioCinema app, both of which are owned by Viacom18.
After the Reliance Industries-owned Viacom18 and Disney Star merger in 2025, Star Sports was designated as the official broadcasting channel of the Tata WPL.
As per the deal, all Women’s IPL matches complete with pre-match and post-match shows, highlights and special segments will be aired on Star Sports 1.
Official Digital Streaming Partner: JioHotstar
JioHotstar is currently the Official Digital Streaming Partner of the WPL, a partnership which will continue until 2027. All WPL matches and related segments will be featured for live watching on the JioHotstar app on mobile phones and TV.
