FC Barcelona have announced a multi-year sponsorship arrangement with Mexico-based Grupo Bimbo, which makes the food and beverage company a major sponsor of the club’s senior women’s football team.

The length of the agreement was not disclosed, though the deal is reportedly worth €3.5 million. In addition to the agreement for the women’s team, Grupo Bimbo also obtains from the Catalan club a “global partner” package of marketing rights that includes merchandise across their La Masia youth academy as well as the training centre.

Barça Femení will debut the Bimbo logo in their first UEFA Women’s Champions League match against Benfica this Wednesday at the Estadi Johan Cruyff.
