French racing team Alpine have announced that Australian racer Jack Doohan will be replacing Esteban Ocon as a full-time driver for the Formula One 2025 season. Doohan currently serves as a Reserve Driver for the team.
Doohan, who is son of five-time 500cc motorcycling world champion Mick Doohan, will partner Pierre Gasly and is set to become the first member of the Alpine Academy to land a full-time seat on the Formula One grid.
Doohan has previously finished second in the Formula 3 championship in 202 and finished third in the Formula 2 championship last season. The 21-year old will continue to serve as a Reserve Driver for the remainder of the Formula One 2024 season.

There is so much work ahead to be prepared and ready and I will give my best in the meantime to absorb as much information and knowledge to be ready for the step up.
