Aston Martin Aramco F1 Team keep faith in Lance Stroll

Aston Martin Aramco Formula One Team have revealed that Lance Stroll will be staying with them following a contract extension, which will keep the Canadian driver with the Silverstone-based team for the 2025 F1 season and beyond. 

Stroll made his F1 debut with Williams in 2017. After two impressive seasons with them, he moved to Racing Point in 2019. In 2021, Racing were rebranded as “Aston Martin” but retained Stroll, who has delivered them one pole position and two podium finishes. 

Stroll’s father, Lawrence, is the Chairman of the British outfit.

Lance Stroll, Aston Martin Aramco Formula One Team driver, said:

I’m super happy to have committed to staying with the team for 2025 and beyond. It’s amazing to see how far we’ve come in the last five years; we’ve grown so much as a team and there’s still so much more to look forward to.

His technical feedback, alongside his committed simulator work, has helped contribute to the continuous development of the car each season. We look forward to creating some more incredible memories and achieving further success together.
