Aston Martin F1 partner with Pedal Mafia

Staff Staff

The Aston Martin Formula One team have announced a new partnership with sports apparel brand Pedal Mafia, which thus becomes the team’s Official Cycling Apparel Partner.

The agreement will see the Australian company provide Aston Martin Aramco Cognizant F1 Team with its performance apparel range as well as launch a collaborated collection.

Matt Chapman, Head of Licensing and Merchandise, AMF1 Team, commented:

It was a pleasure to work with Pedal Mafia™ on this collection. From the very first moment we started discussions, it was immediately clear that – like ourselves – they are dedicated to performance, the use of high-quality materials, and the pursuit of excellence. This first collection is typically bold – ultra-lightweight, closely fitted and featuring a set of colourful graphics. It’s the perfect reflection of the partnership – we love it.

Jay Barron, Founder and CEO, Pedal Mafia, added:

We are hugely excited to start a long-term relationship with AMF1 Team. Pedal Mafia™ was built from my parents’ garage; to now be showcased in the F1 pitlane – the fastest garage in the world! – makes me feel incredibly proud. Merging the worlds of road cycling and motorsport made complete sense to me as I’m a keen competitor in both disciplines. As a company we strive to deliver the fastest, highest quality garments, and take huge inspiration from Formula One and AMF1 Team in their constant pursuit for speed and excellence. We also love that so many Formula One drivers and team members are massive cyclists and cycling fans – it meant this collaboration made perfect sense to us.
