COTA announces partnership for US Grand Prix 2022

The circuit for the United States Grand Prix, the Circuit of the Americas (COTA) has announced a new partnership with mobile payment service Cash App for the upcoming United States Grand Prix 2022, which will be held in Austin, Texas.

The partnership will see all those present at COTA receive 15% refund on any food or beverages purchased through Cash App credit cards or the app itself.

COTA’s vice president of commercial partnerships, Scott Wessels, said,

“COTA is really excited to partner with Cash App on this one-of-a-kind sponsorship and we’re thrilled to offer fans a seamless and instant reward on their food and beverage purchases through Cash App – the best partnerships are the ones that enhance the fan experience and this does just that.”

Bobby Epstein, Executive Chairman, COTA, added,

“Our capacity could be a lot higher, and that’s one thing we’ll look to do over the next few years. The demand in the US right now is incredible, and will absolutely support three races, and could support many more.”

The 2022 US Grand Prix will be the year’s second race in the country following the inaugural Miami Grand Prix held earlier this year. The country will see an additional race from the 2023 season onwards with a race also being scheduled for Las Vegas.
