The International Cricket Council (ICC) have announced electrical goods firm Polycab as an Official Partner of all global events until the end of 2023. The agreement will see Polycab sponsor all the major men's and women's ICC events in 2023 which will include the ICC Women's T20 World Cup in South Africa, the ICC World Test Championship Final in the United Kingdom, and the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 scheduled in India. Polycab aims to reach out to wider audiences through the partnership and deepen their engagement with their existing customers. Sky Sports has inked a long-term partnership with the International Cricket Council (ICC) which will see Sky broadcast all World Cup matches in the UK and Ireland till 2031. The eight year partnership which sees Sky retain the ICC broadcast and digital rights for both men's and women's events, will get underway from 2024. ICC recently has seen record viewership in the UK with the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup 2019 recording a stunning 8.8 million viewers, which is the highest ever UK television viewership number. Geoff Allardice, Chief Executive, ICC, commented, "We are delighted to partner with Sky Sports until 2031 as the home of ICC cricket in the UK and Ireland. For the first time, the partnership will be a direct relationship with Sky Sports which gives us some exciting opportunities for innovative collaborations.I am confident this partnership can support our long-term ambition to attract more players and more fans to the game."

PUMA then followed it up with a video that revealed Harmanpreet as its new brand ambassador, thereby breaking moulds, busting archetypes and creating a strong culture for women in cricket and overall sport. As part of the partnership terms, Harmanpreet will endorse the brand’s footwear, apparel and accessories through multiple activities and campaigns throughout the year. With this, Harmanpreet Kaur joins PUMA’s illustrious roster, which consists of some of the greatest names from the world of sports, including batting legend Virat Kohli, champion sprinter Usain Bolt, football stars Neymar Jr and Sunil Chhetri, celebrated boxer MC Mary Kom, cricketer Harleen Deol and Para-Shooter Avani Lekhara.
