Rohit Sharma started his career with India in ODIs in 2007 but made his way into the Test team six years later, in 2013. Rohit faced a lot of criticism initially in his career as a batter, but he has since gone on to prove everyone wrong with his performances over the past few years. He is now a perfect opener and an obvious choice in the Indian line-up across all three formats of the game.

Sharma is the only batter to have scored three double centuries in ODIs, which is something to be proud of. He plays for the Mumbai Indians in the IPL and under his captaincy has guided the franchise to take home the trophy a record five times.

Rohit Sharma has a strong technique and opens the batting for India. He is aggressive and scores runs at a scintillating pace, but unlike Virat Kohli, Sharma is calm in his attitude and also applies the same mental strategies when it comes to leading a squad.
