Sebastián Báez is an Argentine tennis player who was born on December 28, 2000, in Buenos Aires. Báez began playing tennis at an early age and became a professional in 2018. He earned his career-high ATP singles World No. 30 ranking on April 17, 2023.

In 2021, Báez won his first ATP Challenger title. Known for his innovative playing style and strong shots, he is worth a considerable fortune as a result of his exceptional tennis career thus far, which is estimated to be worth US$5 million. He makes the majority of his money from tennis and some from brand endorsements.

Báez is only 5’7″, but he makes up for it with his aggressive style of play. He had a stellar junior career, topping the ITF rankings and competing in the 2018 Junior French Open Final. His preferred surface is clay, and he defeated Frances Tiafoe to win his maiden title at the Estoril Open.

Báez is the first-ever player to have won five ATP Challenger Tour championships in a single season. He made his senior professional tennis debut 2022 and has won eight ITF singles titles and one ITF doubles trophy so far.

Le Coq Sportif

Previously sponsored by Fila, Báez since 2019 has had a sponsorship agreement in place for apparel and shoes with French sports equipment manufacturer Le Coq Sportif, which is based in Romilly-sur-Seine. On the field, Báez frequently advertises and is seen sporting Fila gear.

Yonex

Báez has had a racquet deal in place with Yonex, a Japanese manufacturer of sporting equipment that distributes and produces gear and apparel for tennis, badminton, golf and running, since 2019. He was previously sponsored by Babolat. The racquet he currently uses is the Yonex VCORE 100.

Pulver

Since 2019, Báez has been as a brand ambassador for Pulver, an Argentinean supplement company that produces a variety of products, including whey protein, soy protein and a selection of snacks.
