PGL to host the first CS:GO Major in 2022
One of Europe’s biggest esports organisations, PGL has announced that it will be hosting the first CS:GO Major of 2022. The premier Counter-Strike tournament is set to be held in Antwerp, Belgium between May 9 and May 22, 2022. The tournament is reported to have a prize pool of US$1 million. he previous ones were held in London, Katowice, Berlin and Stockholm. PGL hopes to bring back the game in front of the audience at the Antwerps Sportpaleis, which can host a total of 18,000 people. This will also be the first time a Major tournament will be held in Belgium with the country’s most notable tournament hosting rights coming at the Charleroi Esports in 2019.
