The Australian Men’s National Cricket team have been the front runners in World Cricket for quite some time now and have produced a lot of talented players for the country who have helped them win a lot of trophies over the years. Decorated superstars such as Ricky Ponting, Adam Gilchrist, Shane Warne, David Warner, Steve Smith and many more have been playing for this team. Though the nation has seen a downgrade in the ICC rankings across all three formats, Team Australia continue to remain a deadly force in the cricketing world. Let us take a look at their list of sponsors.



Alinta Energy, Vodafone, Dettol


Alinta Energy – Australia’s fastest growing generation, electricity and gas retailing private company, Alinta Energy, secured a four-year deal with Cricket Australia as the new home shirt sponsors in May 2018 across all three formats for the national side. Alinta was also announced as the principal partner with CA’s national digital community platform MyCricket, which is an integral part of the grassroots development system in Australia.


Vodafone – Telecommunications brand Vodafone cracked a sponsorship deal with the Australian men’s cricket team as the Test cricket team’s naming rights partner in a three-year deal starting from September 2020. The organisation was also signed on as partner of the national women’s team as well as the Weber Women’s Big Bash League.


Dettol – Health and sanitation products manufacturer Dettol signed a four-year sponsorship deal with the Australian cricket team as their naming rights partner for the ODI and T20I cricket teams from September 2020, replacing Gillette, a personal care brand that had its two-year deal come to an end in October 2020.



XXXX, Woolworths, HCL, Toyota, Commonwealth Bank, Fox Sports, Asics, Bet365, 4 Pines Brewing


XXXX – Lion’s XXXX Gold brand became the official beer of the Australian cricket team after signing a four-year deal as a Gold Sponsor of Cricket Australia in March 2017. The brand replaced Carlton United Breweries and its Victoria Bitter brand after it announced its detachment from cricket sponsorship.


Woolworths – Woolworths, one of Australia’s most iconic brands and the largest supermarket chain in the country, signed a multi-year partnership with Cricket Australia in June 2018 which saw the company secure naming rights for Australian Cricket’s entry level program – Woolworths Cricket Blast. The deal was aimed at supporting the nurturing of the next generation of Australian talent via this junior program.


HCL – HCL Technologies signed a multi-year contract with Cricket Australia as its official technology partner in June 2019, replacing Accenture, who had been working with the Aussies on a five-year deal that got underway from November 2013.


Toyota – Japanese automotive manufacturer Toyota extended its association with the Cricket Australia for four more years as its official automobile partner in November 2017. Toyota was brought on board in July 2012, which saw the launch of Toyota Good for Cricket Raffle to raise funds for local cricket clubs.


Commonwealth Bank – Cricket Australia has had the Commonwealth Bank as its sponsor since 1999. The deal was last extended in October 2016, with the new contract aiming to aid the development of the sport in the country. The partnership supports women’s cricket, indigenous players, disabled players and local clubs around the country.


KFC – Fast-food giant KFC declared in September 2020 that it had renewed its contract with Cricket Australia to keep hold of the naming rights for the Big Bash League. The partnership, which has been going strong for nine years, also includes sponsorship rights for the Australian women’s cricket team and the Weber Women’s Big Bash League.


Fox Sports – The broadcasting channel signed a six-year deal in April 2018 with Cricket Australia as its official broadcasting partner and has acquired all the broadcasting rights for the Australian Cricket team.


Asics – Sportswear brand Asics has been the official kit partner for the Australian Cricket team since October 2011 and has been providing training and matchday kits for the team.


Bet365 – The online sports betting company has been the official betting partner for the Australian cricket team since 2012 and provides some exciting offers to the cricket fans throughout the cricketing season.


4 Pines Brewing – One of the biggest craft brewers in Australia that was born thirteen years ago, 4 Pines Brewing was revealed as the official beer of the Australian men’s cricket team in August 2021.


Cadbury, Marsh, Gatorade, Gillette


Cadbury – Global food brand Cadbury joined hands with Cricket Australia as an official partner for the Australian women’s cricket team in September 2020. The lucrative deal is part of Cadbury’s ‘National Women in Sport’ initiative, which also involves partnerships with AFLW, NRLW and the Matildas and focuses to showcase progressive and diverse female athletes across Australia’s sporting codes.


Marsh – Insurance broking and risk management firm Marsh is the official risk partner for Cricket Australia, which gives the firm the right to take on the naming rights for the (Marsh) Sheffield Shield and the (Marsh) One-Day Cup.


Gatorade – The global sports drink brand Gatorade is Cricket Australia’s official sports drink brand.


Gillette – Personal care brand Gillette entered a two-year partnership with Cricket Australia in October 2017 as its official men’s grooming partner.
