International esports organisation Team Vitality has announced a new partnership with esports betting firm GG.BET. The multi-year partnership will see GG.BET join as the Official International Betting Partner for the organisation's CS;GO team. The partnership will see both parties work together to create unique fan experiences and also a host of fan activations at various events while producing next-gen content. The GG.BET logo will also be visible on Team Vitality's CS:GO jersey starting from the BLAST Premier Fall Group tournament, which gets underway from August 2022. Dmitry Voshkarin, CEO GG.BET, commented, "We are pleased to announce a partnership with Team Vitality, a world-class esports team whose successes we have been following with great interest for a long time. For GG.BET, this is a logical stage of our plans to expand into new markets and provide continuous support for esports’ development. We are looking forward to implementing joint projects and will work hard to make GG.BET users and Vitality fans happy."
Lando Norris' gaming and lifestyle firm Quadrant has extended their partnership agreement with content creation company Elgato. The extension will see Elgato continue to serve as Quadrant's Official Streaming Equipment Partner. The long-term deal will see the Munich-based Elgato continue to provide Quarant's content creators with their wide range of products to improve their streams. Both Quadrant and Elgato will also collaborate on various other activations over the course of the upcoming year. Most recently, both parties had launched the 'Create Greatness' campaign which works on encouraging 'communities to unite' and enable upcoming content creators to use Elgato's products. The campaign also starred Quadrant founder and McLaren Formula One driver Lando Norris.
HP Inc's gaming peripherals brand and leading esports and gaming brand HyperX has roped in songwriter, record producer and DJ Zedd as the brand's ambassador. The agreement will see HyperX serve as Zedd's Official Gaming Audio and Gaming Microphone Supplier. Zedd will also work with HyperX to design and promote various product offerings which will include custom and limited edition headsets and peripherals. Zedd and HyperX will also work on creating exclusive fan content and work on other promotional platforms. Zedd, spoke about the partnership, stating, "HyperX has supported my passion for gaming since we first connected via Twitter, several years ago. Their products are a major part of my gaming lifestyle and I am grateful for the ongoing support. I’m eager to kick off our collaboration, which dives much deeper than a typical partnership.”
Hustling their way amongst the top esports teams in the country, Revenant Esports booked their spot in the Pokemon UNITE World Championships 2022 by clinching the Indian regional qualifier with a dominating performance. They beat Ascension 3-1 in the final and also took home the prize money of $20,000. A total of 24 teams, including popular esports teams like True Rippers Esports, Enigma Gaming, Entity Gaming and S8ul, featured in the regional qualifiers. Revenant Esports were impressive throughout the tournament, winning all of their nine games in the group stages and playoffs. The team will now represent India at the Pokemon UNITE World Championship, scheduled to take place in London from August 19-20. The tournament will feature a massive prize pool of USD 500,000 and will have 16 teams who have qualified from 26 countries across the globe, battling to win the inaugural edition of the tournament. The teams will be divided into four groups with the top two teams advancing to the playoffs. All games will be played in a double elimination best-of-three format while the final will be played in a best-of-five format with a bracket reset.

Red Bull have teamed up with Southeast Asian esports organisation Bacon Time. The partnership will see Red Bull provide Bacon Time's players, coaches, team members, streamers, content creators and ambassadors with their energy drink. Red Bull products will also be available at Bacon Time events. By partnering with Red Bull, Bacon Time expanded their sponsorship portfolio which already includes KFC, Razer, Manly and Foodpanda. Tine Hanse, Head of Sponsorship at Ampverse, commented, "Red Bull is a world-class brand and we’re excited to have them onboard with Bacon Time. The Los Angeles Thieves beat Atlanta FaZe 5-2 at the Call of Duty League Championship finals to take home their first ever CoD League Championship and took home the grand prize of $1.2 million. It was quite the turnaround for the Thieves, who at one point, were at the risk of missing the playoffs early on due to a host of inconsistent performance but when it mattered most, at the Major Four, the Thieves stood up and bagged the trophy. In the Grand Finals, the Thieves got a map veto advantage as a result of qualifying through the upper bracket. They started off with Gavutu Hardpoint and Control and were untouchable on Hardpoint. While they won on Gavutu Control and Tuscan Hardpoint, FaZe managed to avoid a complete whitewash by winning Bocage Search and Destroy. LA Thieves won Berlin Control to go 4-2 up and in the final match on Tuscan Search and Destroy, the Thieves fought tooth and nail to make sure FaZe couldn't mount a comeback.
Upcoming global CS:GO tournament circuit Champion of Champions Tour (CCT) has announced a new partnership with IT service management firm Amazon Web Services (AWS). The multi-year partnership will see AWS become the Official Cloud Infrastructure Provider of the tournament circuit from 2022 to 2024. AWS will provide the tournament with data insights to help create broadcast improvements, additionally with widgets, the data provided by CTT will let them create a dedicated tournament hub which will feature a wide variety of information.
