Rajasthan Royals (RR) Sponsors 2023

This article contains information regarding the organisations enjoying a strong branding presence across the Rajasthan Royals’ (RR) physical and digital assets as their sponsors and partners for the 2023 Indian Premier League (IPL) season.

TITLE SPONSOR

Luminous Power 

The Rajasthan Royals roped in leading energy solutions provider Luminous Power as their Title Sponsor for the 2023 IPL season.

As Title Sponsor, Luminous Power has its logo present on the front of the RR playing and training shirts. 

PRINCIPAL SPONSORS

Reliance Jio

The Mumbai-based Indian telecom giant has maintained a sponsorship deal with all eight teams across the IPL since the 2018 season. For the RR, Jio has been a Principal Sponsor since the start of IPL 2021, and its logo features on the sleeves of the team’s matchday shirt.

In August 2020, Jio exclusively released a three-part documentary, titled Inside Story: A season with the Rajasthan Royals, which covered the side’s IPL 2019 campaign.

Dollar Industries

The Kolkata-headquartered hosiery and innerwear producer was announced as a Principal Sponsor of the Rajasthan Royals on a multi-year deal in March 2022. As per the deal, the Dollar logo features on the front of the RR matchday shirt (chest sponsor).

BKT

Ahead of the 2021 IPL season, Mumbai-based tire manufacturer BKT (Balkrishna Industries Limited) signed a sponsorship deal with seven out of eight teams (excluding the SunRisers Hyderabad) in March 2021 to become their Official Tire Partner.

For the RR, BKT also serves as a Principal Sponsor, with its logo featuring on the back of the team’s matchday shirt. 

ASSOCIATE SPONSORS 

SBI Life

Indian life insurance provider SBI Life announced its association with the Rajasthan Royals as IPL 2023 kicked off, joining as their lead helmet partner. As part of the collaboration, SBI Life’s logo is displayed prominently on the RR player helmets. 

Goel TMT

Indian steel manufacturing firm Goel TMT renewed its partnership with the RR ahead of IPL 2023. The partnership renewal entails Goel TMT continuing as an Associate Sponsor of the Royals for the next three years. As an Associate Sponsor, Goel TMT will have its branding feature on both sides of the Royals playing trousers.

UBON

UBON, a gadget accessory and electronics brand, announced a partnership with the RR before the start of IPL 2023, joining as their Official Headgear and Audio Partner. As per the agreement, UBON receives brand presence on the helmets and caps of the RR players.

OFFICIAL PARTNERS  

FanCraze 

FanCraze Technologies, a US-based Web 3.0 company, is a blockchain-based decentralised marketplace for officially-licensed cricket NFTs. In December 2022, FanCraze announced the signing of a partnership agreement deal with the Rajasthan Royals to create ownable assets via NFTs, a virtual academy, digital land and multiple play-to-earn experiences as well as other Web3.0 experiences. 

Dream11 

Apart from being an Official Partner to the IPL itself, Mumbai-headquartered Indian fantasy sports platform Dream11 serves as the designated fantasy sports partner to seven teams in the tournament, excluding the Kolkata Knight Riders, the Royal Challengers Bangalore and the Lucknow Super Giants.

Royal Challenge 

The Rajasthan Royals on-boarded Royal Challenge, an Indian brand of whiskey manufactured by United Spirits Ltd, as their official partner ahead of the 2023 IPL season. The Royal Challenge logo features on the RR kit. 

Mahindra

Mahindra & Mahindra is an Indian multinational automotive manufacturing corporation headquartered in Ludhiana. It tied up with the Royals ahead of IPL 2023 as their Official SUV Partner. It has also signed up with the likes of the Delhi Capitals, the Mumbai Indians and the Royal Challengers Bangalore.

Deakin University 

Deakin University has partnered with the Royals to support and promote participation in Indian sport both on and off the field. Deakin’s Vice Chancellor, Iain Martin, was in India to sign the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to formalise the next phase of the long-standing partnership between the two parties.

Fino Bank

The Royals renewed their partnership with Fino Payments Bank ahead of IPL 2023, the latter continuing as the Official Digital Banking Partner of the team.

The partnership, which started in 2022, sees Fino Bank continue to drive messages of convenience, accessibility, proximity and trust, while also working with the team towards increasing its brand visibility. 

Dettol 

Dettol is a cleaning disinfectant and antiseptic brand owned by British company Reckitt. In 2022, Dettol India announced a partnership agreement with the Rajasthan Royals, joining the RR sponsorship portfolio as their Cooldown Partner for IPL 2022.

In February 2023, the RR and Dettol renewed their association to also cover the 2023 IPL season. 

Schneider Electric 

French multinational company Schneider Electric renewed its official sustainability partnership agreement with the Royals for IPL 2023, having originally partnered with them in April 2022. The two parties will continue to work together on finding ways of making the game of cricket more sustainable. 

Bisleri 

Indian bottled water and soft beverages company Bisleri also signed a partnership agreement with the Royals for IPL 2023. After strengthening its ties with the likes of the Mumbai Indians, the Gujarat Titans and the Lucknow Super Giants, Bisleri joined the RR sponsorship portfolio as their Official Hydration Partner. 

Bombay Shaving Company 

Personal care and grooming brand Bombay Shaving Company entered into a product and content partnership agreement with the RR ahead of IPL 2023. As the grooming partner of the team, Bombay Shaving Company has introduced the “Exclusive Royals Edition” — a range of Royals-themed shaving and grooming products. 

Amul Organic 

Amul Organic, a part of Anand Milk Union Limited (Amul), joined hands with the Rajasthan Royals as one of their Official Partners for the 2023 IPL season in April 2023.

HemeHealth

Provider of an application for the management of medical records, HemeHealth enables its users to upload lab reports, vitals and insurance files for storage and track their medical history.

The Rajasthan Royals roped in HemeHealth as an official partner for IPL 2023. HemeHealth joined the RR sponsorship portfolio as their official healthcare partner. 

OFFICIAL LICENSEES

FanCode Shop 

FanCode Shop, the merchandising arm of FanCode, announced a long-term partnership with the Rajasthan Royals to launch, build and manage the RR Mega Store. The partnership leverages FanCode Shop’s sports commerce and tech capabilities to curate a connected and seamless experience for fans to purchase licensed RR merchandise.

TagZ Foods

Snacks startup TagZ Foods also partnered up with the Royals for IPL 2023, coming on board as an Official Licensee. 

Gullyactive 

Athleticwear brand Gullyactive has collaborated with the Royals to create fan merchandise for the 2023 IPL season. As part of the deal, official RR fan club Super Royals will have its branding feature on all Gullyactive products launched in collaboration with the Royals.

playR 

Sports and lifestyle brand playR announced its association with the Rajasthan Royals ahead of IPL 2023. playR joined the RR sponsorship roster as their Exclusive Global Merchandise partner for IPL 2023.

Besides the Rajasthan Royals, playR has also tied up with the Chennai Super Kings, the Mumbai Indians, and the Punjab Kings. 

MEDIA PARTNERS

Humans of Bombay 

India’s largest storytelling platform Humans of Bombay became the official storytelling partner of the Rajasthan Royals for the 2023 IPL season.

Established in 2014 by Karishma Mehta, Humans of Bombay aims to showcase unique, inspirational and relatable stories of individuals from all walks of life. With a community of over 4.5 million people, the platform has lent voice to the voiceless with more than 6,000 stories told so far.

92.7 Big FM 

Radio Network Big FM renewed its partnership with the Rajasthan Royals ahead of IPL 2023, the former set to continue its role as the RR’s official radio partner for the 2023 IPL season. Through this association, the radio network offers exclusive interactions with players, match updates and contests among other features. 

Rajasthan Patrika 

Rajasthan Patrika is an Indian Hindi-language daily newspaper. Ahead of IPL 2023, the Royals roped in Rajasthan Patrika as their official media partner for the season.
