Sri Lankan cricket has seen a significant downfall in recent years as the performances of their men’s national team have not been up to the expectations of their supporters. DIALOG – Sri Lankan operator Dialog Axiata extended its partnership with Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) until 2023 as the ‘Official National Team Sponsor of Sri Lanka Cricket’ in February 2021.
MAS – An apparel giant of South Asia, MAS Holdings, cemented its decade-long partnership with SLC with the empowerment of the national women’s cricket team ahead of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup in Australia in February 2020. MAS also launched the Diriya Denna campaign to rally the nation around the women’s team and escalating their sense of pride as representatives of Sri Lanka on the global stage.
MASURI – The UK-based Masuri Group Limited cracked a deal as the Official Cricket Helmet Partner of Sri Lanka Cricket in August 2020.
MY COLA – Sri Lanka Cricket tied up with My Cola Beverages as their official “Carbonated Beverages Partner” on a three-year-deal in July 2020.
RED BULL – Red Bull got into a long-term agreement with Sri Lanka Cricket to become their Official Energy Drink partner in October 2020.
LiCC JEANS – Long Island Clothing Company (LiCC Jeans) renewed its sponsorship as the Official Casual Clothing Sponsor of Sri Lanka Cricket for three years in September 2020.
SONY PICTURES – Sri Lanka Cricket’s global media rights were awarded to Sony Pictures Networks India for a period of three years in July 2020.
ITW – ITW India owns the national team sponsorship for out-bound tours of the Sri Lanka men’s cricket team since December 2020.
NAMAL BALACHANDRA – Sri Lanka Cricket signed a three-year agreement with Namal Balachandra, choosing the firm as the Official Formal Clothing Sponsor of their national teams in September 2020.
CRISTAL DRINKING WATER & LIFE – Sri Lanka Cricket announced in September 2020 Cristal and Life, two brands coming under My Cola Beverages Ltd, as their Official Bottled Drinking Water Partners.
DARAZ – Daraz was announced as the official overseas team sponsor of SLC for 2021 in May 2021 which included high-profile series against Bangladesh, England, South Africa and Scotland.
IPG GROUP – Sri Lanka Cricket awarded the marketing and organisation rights of the Lanka Premier League (SPL) to a Dubai-based company, Innovative Production Group, in August 2020.
KENT RO – Sri Lanka Cricket announced Kent RO, a leading provider of water purifying solutions, as their men’s national team’s back-of-matchday-shirt sponsor during the T20 series of the India tour of Sri Lanka in June 2021.
