Bundesliga signs triple NFT partnership
The German Football League (DFL) has awarded licences worth more than US$179m for stickers, trading cards and NFTs to three companies: OneFootball, Sorare and Topps, which is a 208% increase from their previous deals. From the 2023/24 season, OneFootball will serve as an Official Partner of the Bundesliga and gain the rights to create digital trading cards and video moments NFTs, which could be collected, traded and sold on their Aera marketplace. Sorare will gain exclusive rights to use NFTs based on the Bundesliga players in a fantasy game, while Topps will have the rights to create physical digital stickers and trading card game and NFT equivalents of the same. All of the NFT-based agreements will last till the end of the 2024/25 season, while Topps’ physical stickers deal will last until the end of the 2028/29 season.

Singapore Airlines extends F1 partnership
Singapore Airlines have announced an extension of their sponsorship agreement with Formula One's Singapore Grand Prix. The new three year deal sees Singapore Airlines continue as the title sponsor of the race till 2024. Singapore Airlines had initially partnered with the Singapore Grand Prix in 2014 on a four year deal and it was extended for a further two years in 2018 and 2020. Lee Lik Hsin, SIA Executive Vice President Commercial, commented, "This year’s highly anticipated Formula One Singapore Grand Prix will be an important milestone for Singapore, marking the return of a major international sporting event to the city after a two-year disruption due to the pandemic. ECB nets partnership with Sage
The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) have announced global accounting and financial software firm Sage as a new sponsor of The Hundred. The multi-year deal will see Sage join as the Official Insights Partner of the tournament. The UK-headquartered firm will also serve as the Presenting Sponsor of The Hundred Draft, which is scheduled to start from 2023. The partnership will see Sage branding on the umpire uniforms and Sage will power the Decision Review System (DRS) for broadcast and big screens at the venues.
