Global leader in ecommerce technology, Rokt has been roped in by Austrian Formula One team Red Bull Racing as an Official Team Partner. Rokt and Red Bull will work together on multiple projects to foster greater diversity in Formula One and beyond. Rokt along with Red Bull will also work together to recruit female esports athletes for the Red Bull Racing team. Rokt will also become Title Partner of Red Bull Racing’s event celebrating International Women in Engineering Day. The partnership will see the Rokt logo present on the Red Bull race cars, driver suits, on the jerseys of the Red Bull Racing Esports team and also on various other team collaterals. SBI partners with Hyderabad E-Prix

The Greenko Hyderabad E-Prix have announced State Bank Of India as the Official Banking Partner of the Formula E event which will be held in Hyderabad on February 11, 2023. By joining on board as a sponsor for India's first ever Formula E race, SBI joins the likes of Red FM Telugu - the Exclusive Radio Partner, Emaar and Reliance Jio - Official Race Partners, who have been recently roped in as partners for the event. Energy transition and decarbonisation firm Greenko will serve as the Title Partner of the race with the race being renamed as the Greenko Hyderabad E-Prix. The Greenko Hyderabad E-Prix will be the first ever Formula E race to be held in India and will be the fourth race of the ongoing Formula E 2023 season.

Ford announces return to F1

American automotive company Ford have announced their return to Formula One. Ford stated that they will be returning to the sport in 2026 when the new engine regulations are introduced. It is reported that Ford will partner with Red Bull for their return to the grid and will team up with the Austrian team's engine company, Red Bull Powertrains, although an official announcement is awaited. Following Honda walking away from the sport, Red Bull had decided to set up their own power unit facility. Red Bull and its sister team AlpaTauri will continue to use Honda engines till the end of the 2025 season. The 2026 season will see new power unit regulations with teams using increased electrical power and sustainable synthetic fuels in the internal combustion engine. Reports suggest Ford will concentrate on battery and hybrid technology in their partnership with Red Bull. Ford's return in 2026 will mark the team's return to the sport since 2004 when they were last in the sport with the Jaguar team. Ford had sold its Jaguar team to Red Bull in 2004. Ford had made its Formula One debut in the 1960s and won their first title with Lotus and Graham Hill in 1968. The team's most recent title win was that of Michael Schumacher's with Benetton in 1994. Ford has been apart of 10 Constructors' and 13 Drivers' Championships over the years.

Ford announces Red Bull partnership for F1 return

After making the announcement for their return to Formula One, Ford have officially announced that they will be partnering with Red Bull for their return to the sport in 2026 and Red Bull and their sister team AlphaTauri will both use Ford-branded engines from the 2026 season onwards. The announcement of the partnership between Ford and Red Bull was made during Red Bull's livery launch for their RB19 car for the upcoming season, in New York. Following Honda's announcement to walk away from the sport, Red Bull had set up a new division to build their own engine, Red Bull Powertrains and Ford will now support the team and also provide technical input and work together on the development of a hybrid power unit to supply engines to Red Bull and AlphaTauri. Christian Horner, Team Principal, Red Bull Racing, said, "It’s fantastic to be welcoming Ford back into Formula 1 through this partnership. As an independent engine manufacturer to have the ability to benefit from an OEM’s experience like Ford puts us in good stead against the competition. 'They are a manufacturer rich in motoring history that spans generations. From Jim Clark to Ayrton Senna and Michael Schumacher, the lineage speaks for itself. For us as Red Bull Powertrains to open the next chapter of that dynasty, as Red Bull Ford, is tremendously exciting. 2026 is still a while away but for us the work already starts as we look to a new future and a continued evolution of Oracle Red Bull Racing.”

Italian Formula One team Scuderia AlphaTauri have announced a new multi-year partnership with global oil and gas company PKN ORLEN. The multi-year deal will see PKN ORLEN join the team as a Principal Partner. The partnership will see PKN ORLEN have their branding present on a host of team assets as well as the AlphaTauri race car, on the rear wing and even on the driver apparel. Prior to joining AlphaTauri as a Principal Partner, PKN ORLEN were the Title Partners for Swiss team Alfa Romeo. The Hyderabad E-Prix will be the first-ever Formula E race to be held in India and will be held at the Hyderabad Street Circuit in the Indian city of Hyderabad, Telangana. The race will be held on February 11, 2023 and will have energy transition and decarbonization brand Greenko serving as the Title Sponsor of the race. The race has been renamed as the Greenko Hyderabad E-Prix. The 2023 Formula E season got underway on January 14 with the Mexican E-Prix which Avalanche Andretti's Jake Dennis won. The second and third rounds were held in Saudi Arabia, at the Diriyah E-Prix which TAG Heuer Porsche's Pascal Wehrlein won both races. The Hyderabad race will be the fourth round of the 16-race season.

The Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA) has announced a host of managerial changes which will see Formula One Sporting Director Steve Nielsen leave his role to take up the same role in the FIA. As Sporting Director at the FIA, Nielsen will oversee the sporting matters which will include the development of Race Control and the Remote Operations Centre, as well as future updates to the Sporting Regulations. Tim Goss will take up the role of Technical Director, Federico Lodi, the former FIA Financial Regulations member will become the Formula One Financial Director while François Sicard, a former Sporting Director will take up the role of Formula One Strategy & Operations Director and will be overseeing the long-term strategic planning and also be responsible for key trackside activities and logistics. Former Formula One's Technical Team Head, Nikolas Tombazis will take on the role of the FIA's Single Seater Director. All changes will be implemented from the upcoming 2023 season.

Ferrari announce Reserve Drivers for F1 2023 season

Italian Formula One team Ferrari have announced their roster for their Reserve and Development Drivers for the upcoming Formula One 2023 season. Ferrari have announced a total of four drivers who will support the team's main two drivers, Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz. The four drivers will be former Formula One driver Antonio Giovinazzi, Robert Shwartzman, both of whom will share the Reserve Driver role along as they will also work on Ferrari's new simulator, launched last year. Along with Giovinazzi and Shwartzman, Antonio Fuoco and Davide Rigon will work as Development Drivers, putting in the hours in the simulator. Fuoco is a Formula 2 race winner while Rigon races in the GT series. Giovinazzi has been a long standing member of the Ferrari Academy and has driven for Alfa Romeo for multiple seasons in Formula One. Robert Shwartzman meanwhile, another Ferrari Driver Academy member, was the Formula 2 runner-up last season.

Formula One has announced that the upcoming 2023 season will consist of 23 races. Initially the season was supposed to consist of a record 24 races but the Chinese Grand Prix was cancelled due to the country's Covid-19 situation and Formula One has revealed that there will not be any replacements for the Chinese Grand Prix. The season will kick off on March 5, 2023 with the Bahrain Grand Prix and conclude as the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix on November 26,2023. The season will also host the inaugural Las Vegas Grand Prix on November 18, 2023 and will see the return of the Qatar Grand Prix on October 8, 2023. The race is Lusail, Qatar was introduced during the 2021 season but was not a part of the 2022 championship due to the country hosting the FIFA World Cup 2022.
