Alfa Romeo extend Marelli partnership

Swiss Formula One team Alfa Romeo have extended their partnership with automotive supplier Marelli. The partnership which started in the 2019 season will continue on for the 2023 season. The partnership extension will see the Marelli brand continuing to provide the team with their products and the Marelli logo present on the Alfa Romeo race car, on the top of the chassis. Alessandro Alunni Bravi, Team Representative of Alfa Romeo F1 Team Stake, commented, "We are delighted to continue our partnership with Marelli, a dedicated technology partner of our team for several years. With a long-standing motorsport heritage, experience in racing and an undeniable passion for competition, Marelli’s values are akin to our own. Formula One has announced a multi-year partnership with streaming services DAZN. The partnership will see DAZN broadcast Formula One in Japan till 2025. The partnership will kick off with the upcoming 2023 season where DAZN will broadcast the entire 23 race calendar including the practice sessions and qualifying sessions. DAZN will also broadcast the pre-season testing in Bahrain and also broadcast the Formula 2 and Formula 3 championships in the region where Japanese driver Ayumu Iwasa will take part in F2. Ian Holmes, Director of Media Rights and Content Creation at Formula One, commented, "Japan is a historic market for Formula 1 with some of the most passionate fans in the world, and we are delighted to announce this partnership with DAZN for them to continue to broadcast Formula 1 for the next three years. TCL Electronics renews Australian Grand Prix partnership

Global television manufacturer and consumer electronics giant TCL Electronics has renewed their partnership with the Australian Grand Prix Corporation. The partnership will see TCL Electronics continue on as the Official Television Provider of the Australian Grand Prix for the second straight year. The renewal of the partnership will see TCL provide the audience with audio-visual coverage experience with the implementation of over 800 LCD TVs installed around the circuit, helping spectators catch the on-track action at all parts of the circuit, irrespective of where they are. TCL will also host a racing simulator for the fans along with a daily prize giveaway. Red Bull announce new partnership with Built For Athletes

Red Bull Racing have roped in premium fitness brand, Built For Athletes as the team’s Official Luggage Provider, joining on a multi-year deal. Built For Athletes will provide the team with their products which will be meticulously designed to provide supreme comfort, absolute assurance and unapologetic style. Both parties will also work together on a limited edition collection which will have the Built for Athlete backpack in the Red Bull Racing colours. The backpack will have the names of Red Bull's drivers - Max Verstappen and Sergio Pérez on them. Christian Horner, Team Principal and CEO at Oracle Red Bull Racing, said, "As a team who prioritises partnering with brands that offer the highest quality products and constantly push for better, Built For Athletes is a perfect match for us. Leading UAE-based artificial intelligence (AI) and cloud computing technology company, G42, have been announced as an Official Partner of German Formula One team Mercedes following a multi-year partnership with the German team. The partnership will see Mercedes use G42's software and solutions for critical insights. Additionally the agreement will also focus on talent development programmes, joint training, and innovation workshops. Both parties will also work to find new areas to deploy AI and use it to the team's advantage. The partnership will see the G42 logo present on the Mercedes race car and on the race helmets of both drivers and in the team garage during race weekends. Peng Xiao, Group CEO at G42, commented, "Modern motorsport and technology go hand-in-hand, especially when you consider the sheer magnitude of critical data that is generated during every race weekend. Ford announces Red Bull partnership for F1 return

After making the announcement for their return to Formula One, Ford have officially announced that they will be partnering with Red Bull for their return to the sport in 2026 and Red Bull and their sister team AlphaTauri will both use Ford-branded engines from the 2026 season onwards. The announcement of the partnership between Ford and Red Bull was made during Red Bull's livery launch for their RB19 car for the upcoming season, in New York. Following Honda's announcement to walk away from the sport, Red Bull had set up a new division to build their own engine, Red Bull Powertrains and Ford will now support the team and also provide technical input and work together on the development of a hybrid power unit to supply engines to Red Bull and AlphaTauri. Christian Horner, Team Principal, Red Bull Racing, said, "It’s fantastic to be welcoming Ford back into Formula 1 through this partnership. As an independent engine manufacturer to have the ability to benefit from an OEM’s experience like Ford puts us in good stead against the competition. 'They are a manufacturer rich in motoring history that spans generations. From Jim Clark to Ayrton Senna and Michael Schumacher, the lineage speaks for itself. For us as Red Bull Powertrains to open the next chapter of that dynasty, as Red Bull Ford, is tremendously exciting. 2026 is still a while away but for us the work already starts as we look to a new future and a continued evolution of Oracle Red Bull Racing.”

Italian Formula One team Scuderia AlphaTauri have announced a new multi-year partnership with global oil and gas company PKN ORLEN. The multi-year deal will see PKN ORLEN join the team as a Principal Partner. The partnership will see PKN ORLEN have their branding present on a host of team assets as well as the AlphaTauri race car, on the rear wing and even on the driver apparel. Prior to joining AlphaTauri as a Principal Partner, PKN ORLEN were the Title Partners for Swiss team Alfa Romeo. Daniel Obajtek, CEO of PKN ORLEN, commented, "ORLEN Group is Central Europe’s most significant multi-utility concern, serving more than 100 million customers. Global brand recognition is essential to achieve our strategic goals. Nearly half of the Group’s revenues come from sales abroad.
