Cricket Australia announces Rario partnership
Cricket Australia (CA), along with the Australian Cricketers’ Association (ACA), has announced a new partnership with Singapore-based collectibles platform Rario and NFT-trading firm BlockTrust. The partnership is Australian cricket’s first venture into the world of NFTs. The partnership will allow Australian cricket fans a chance to own and trade NFTs that will include some of the finest Australian cricketing moments. Additionally, all the revenue generated from the NFTs will be shared between the past and present players as well as CA.

Ligue 1 club Paris Saint-Germain have announced a new partnership with online sneaker marketplace GOAT. The multi-year partnership, which is reported to be worth more than €50 million, will see GOAT serve the French club’s Official Sleeve Sponsor and a Principal Partner from July 2022. From now until the end of the season, GOAT will serve the club as an Official Partner. Along with having branding rights on the first-team, training and warm-up jerseys of the men’s team from next season, GOAT and PSG will also collaborate on promoting the GOAT brand across their various platforms.

North American esports organisation Complexity Gaming have announced a new partnership with streaming platform Twitch. The deal will see Twitch work with Complexity’s internal sales team to provide sponsorship opportunities to their teams, streamers, content creators and events. Additionally, Complexity will also be able to access a host of Twitch partners, with the two parties also set to collaborate together to create new branded content along with Complexity creating more content on Twitch.
BLAST announces Maersk partnership
Danish shipping and logistics firm A.P. Møller – Mærsk (Maersk) has signed a new partnership with global esports tournament organiser BLAST Premier. The partnership will see Maersk join as an Official Sponsor of BLAST’s CS:GO events in 2022, and the Maersk branding will be visible on BLAST Premier’s digital and physical assets. The two parties will also work together on the MVP segments of the tournaments, and the best players from the tournaments will be getting a Maersk-branded trophy. They will also work on ‘integrated digital campaigns’ around fan engagement.
